Maine
Maine has more tidal coastline than almost any state in the country — and every mile of it is eating somebody's steel roof. Interlock builds in aluminum because aluminum cannot rust, which is why our installs from York to Boothbay Harbor to Harpswell keep working decades after coated-steel alternatives streak and fail. One installation, a Lifetime Limited 50-Year Transferable Warranty, and Down East winters become someone else's roofing problem.

Maine's coast — York, the Boothbay peninsula, Casco Bay, Mount Desert — is a corrosion test that steel roofing fails from the cut edges and fasteners outward. Aluminum forms a stable protective oxide instead of rust. That single material choice is why an Interlock roof on the water at Harpswell handles 'high wind and exposure to the elements,' in owner Tony L.'s words, without a maintenance plan.
Wayne M.'s York home is an 1890 colonial; two years after installation he reported the roof 'has been excellent.' William F. of Waterville roofed his 160-year-old home with Interlock in 2002 — 24 years ago — and remains, in his words, still happy with the investment. Maine's historic housing stock is exactly where a lifetime roof pays off, because the house isn't going anywhere.
Ellsworth, Waterville and the interior counties see deep, long-holding snowpack. The four-way interlock sheds the snowpack that feeds ice dams at the eaves — the failure that ruins asphalt roofs across the state every March.
Keith S. of Ellsworth: 'The crew worked hard, cleaned the area each day and the roof looks great.' Wendy T. of West Boothbay Harbor: 'I don't think Interlock could improve on anything.' Verified reviews, named towns, install dates on record.
Whether it's a Kennebunk cape, a Rangeley camp or a Portland foursquare, profiles include slate, cedar-shingle, shake, standing seam and copper — the look stays Maine, the maintenance disappears.

Reviews
Our house experiences high wind and exposure to the elements on the Maine coast. Interlock offered competitive pricing on aluminum shingle roofing. The entire experience was good, from quotation, removal of the old roof, and installation of the new roof.

Interlock was great, and installation was just as told to us by sales. The crew worked hard, cleaned area each day and roof looks great! I was impressed by their professionalism and also had a call from home office checking during the install.

Our entire experience; inquiry, ordering, installation, and follow up has been excellent. The roof was justifiably costly and definitely worth the investment. The appearance of our house has been greatly enhanced.
