Metal roofing in Brockton: installed once, warranted for life
Every asphalt roof in Brockton is on a 15–20 year replacement clock. An Interlock aluminum system ends it: one installation, four-way interlocked panels with concealed fasteners, a warranted 120 mph wind rating and UL 2218 Class 4 impact rating — and the Guardian lifetime limited warranty, which covers you for as long as you own the home and transfers once to the next owner.
Metal shingles & aluminum roofing profiles for Massachusetts homes
Brockton homeowners choose from shingle, cedar shake, slate and standing seam profiles pressed in aluminum — the character New England architecture expects, in Alunar®-coated colors warranted for 30 years. Aluminum can't rust the way steel can, which matters where roofs live under snow for months. "Class A Fire Rated Available." Choosing a roofing contractor in Brockton
Ask every contractor the same five questions: how panels attach (clips, single tabs, or four-sided interlock), whether fasteners are exposed, what the coating actually is, whether the warranty is manufacturer-backed and transferable, and how many metal roofs — specifically metal — the crew installed last year. Our answers are on this page and in writing at your estimate. Licensed and insured in Massachusetts (Massachusetts — MA 139640) · US EPA Lead-Safe certified · BBB A+ since 1999.
Brockton weather, by the numbers
10-year local averages — the conditions a Brockton roof actually has to survive, and what we engineer for.
30″
snow per year
84 mph
peak wind gusts
84

47″
rain per year
Peak gusts here have exceeded hurricane force — the Interlock system's warranted 120 mph wind rating and four-sided panel interlock are engineered for exactly this. And with 84 freeze–thaw cycles in a typical year, concealed fasteners matter: there are no exposed gaskets or fastener heads for that cycle to age, back out, or leak through.

What Brockton homeowners say
★★★★“From the Salesman to the work crew, everyone was extremely professional. Although expensive I do feel I have made a great investment for my home.”
★★★★“I would like for you to retrain your guys. Don't just sell something but it is good to present something and allow the customer to decide if they are going to proceed or not. I was asking questions and the guy was filling out the application. Present something, allow me to think about it, and then find out if I want to proceed or not. Don't force something on me; that turns me off.”
★★★★“Installation process, much room for improvement. The first crew that was on my job change the start date 5 times for various reasons. I was not notified of some of the date changes. Finally, I was called and told they had to give the job to a different crew. That crew showed up on the date and completed the job in a timely manner. The only complaint I have is that one of the men asked my daughter for payment and wanted her to do a walk around the house even though it was dark and she couldn't see. She was upset and called me at work. I would suggest that the crew foreman have all the information regarding method of payment in order to prevent this from happening to anyone else. I was also told by the representative that I could get a discount on my homeowner insurance which was not true. My insurance company had no knowledge of such a discount. He should consider excluding that from his presentation or rephrase the statement. All in all, I would refer Interlock Roofing to my family and friends. I think it was unprofessional to have to change crews after the homeowner has met with them and discussed start time and materials was delivered. The customer need to be able to communicate with the members of the crew.”
“I am sending this letter to let you know how pleased I am with my new Interlock Roof. It has been an absolute joy doing business with a company as professional as yours has been. Your people have been extremely courteous and informative throughout the entire process. As a retiree from the engineering field, you can only imagine my delight when researching your product I found it used a finishing method similar to that used in the space program. This process is not unknown to me and was the selling factor for using Interlock as my new roofing system. If a material can withstand the rigors of high friction heat and extreme cold, it is definitely a product that can withstand the changing weather conditions we experience here in New England. The interlocking design of your roofing is also a plus factor. Normal roofing today is not what it was years ago when asbestos was used as the stabilizing element in roof tiles. Today's tiles are soft and tend to buckle and lift over a period of time (my current roof lasted less than ten years). With the interlock design, I should not see any buckling or lifting of tiles. This is definitely a plus factor and a cost-efficient system when taking into account that I will not have to replace the roof again in my lifetime (considerable savings over a long period of time). Again, I wish to express my delight in both your product and the installation of my new Interlock Roof.”

Will a metal roof handle Brockton snow and ice dams?
The interlocked aluminum surface sheds snow far more readily than asphalt, and every panel locks to its neighbors on all four sides with no exposed fasteners. Brockton averages roughly 30 inches of snow and 84 freeze–thaw days a year (10-year averages) — exactly the cycle that works exposed fasteners loose on other systems. Ice dams themselves start in the attic — heat loss and ventilation — which we assess at every Brockton estimate; the roof's contribution is less snow sitting at the eaves and no exposed seams for meltwater to work through.
