Southern Vermont homes are worth roofing once, properly. Interlock's slate and cedar-shake profiles keep a Manchester or Arlington house looking exactly as it should, in aluminum that will not split, curl or streak — covered by the Guardian Warranty from Interlock Roofing.

Manchester, Arlington and old Bennington hold some of the most photographed streetscapes in Vermont, much of it originally slate or wood shake. Interlock's aluminum profiles hold those rooflines without the splitting, cupping and moss real wood suffers in this climate — at 0.41 psf installed versus roughly 8 to 10 psf for natural slate.
Southern Vermont still gets serious snow and relentless freeze-thaw. Four-way interlocking panels leave no exposed lap seam across the field of the roof, and the surface is designed to shed snow rather than hold it.
For an owner arriving from out of state, the benefit is a roof built to last a lifetime rather than one on a fifteen-year clock.

Long wait on materials, installation was good, but not what I would call great (some dents, some uneven areas). The overall project had the potential to be fantastic (due to the construction of the house) and it fell short of that, but still looks great. Also dissappointed that they could not provide me with a certification letter for the wind, hail, and fire resistance. So installation had no effect on my homeowners insurance. At my previous home in Texas, that was standard for all roofing contractors. See previous comments

This is the second review I have ever given. Absolutely couldn’t be happier about our new roof/skylights and the folks I dealt with during the whole process. Begins with the no pressure sales, support staff and ends with the people who did the work. Work was done in November and waited to give this review only because I wanted to see how it handled a Vermont winter and see if any issues came up. No issues, none! Not sure why, but I used a lot less oil this winter (colder and snowier winter than normal). Maybe my 30 years old skylights or something to do with the roof system? If you are on the fence about using Interlock Roofing or the Shake Shingle type of roof, my advice to you would be to get off the fence and pull the trigger!

Communications with the office could be improved. Dropping and losing nails and scraps in the snow is understandable but not picking up excess nails dropped while filling nail pouches is not okay. Also as a non smoker cigarette butts on the ground are definitely not okay.

We just put an Interlock metal roof on our house. We were very happy with Chris's presentation and and decided to move forward with them. They started when they said they would and the crew worked full days until it was complete.

Very pleased with the quality and appearance of the roofing.
