One product, one promise

We install one thing, and that focus is the point.

We install the Interlock® roofing system: interlocking aluminum panels manufactured by Interlock Roofing. We are not a general roofing company that also offers metal. This system is all we do, and we have done it in New England since 1999.

New England is hard on a roof. Nor'easters bring heavy, wet snow and wind-driven rain, winters are long, and months of freeze–thaw work at anything that holds water. On the coast, salt air goes after anything that can rust. Aluminum absorbs no water, contains no iron to rust, is light on the framing, and locks on four sides with the fasteners covered. Ice dams come from heat escaping the attic and from ventilation, not from the roofing itself, so we look at insulation and venting with you before we quote. Every roof carries the manufacturer's Guardian Lifetime Limited Material Warranty, which transfers once when you sell.

Since 1999

Interlock Metal Roofing (New England) Inc. was founded on July 21, 1999, and the Better Business Bureau accredited it on October 8, 1999. The company has installed one roofing system from the start, and the job book lists its completed roofs town by town.

2

One system

We install the Interlock® roofing system and nothing else: heavy-gauge aluminum panels made by Interlock Roofing, locked on all four edges with the fasteners concealed. We are the certified and exclusive Interlock® roofing contractor for New England.

3

Made in North America

The panels are manufactured by Interlock Roofing at its plant in Delta, BC. We sell, install and answer for them from our own office in Walpole, Massachusetts, so the people who quote your roof are the company that puts it on.

Is Interlock Metal Roofing (New England) Inc. the same company as the manufacturer?

How long have you been in business?

Since July 21, 1999. Interlock Metal Roofing (New England) Inc. has been a BBB Accredited Business since October 8, 1999 and holds an A+ rating.

How many roofs have you installed in New England?

Our job book lists 5,036 completed, published Interlock® roofs in New England since 1999: Massachusetts 2,790, New Hampshire 728, Connecticut 649, Rhode Island 389, Maine 399 and Vermont 81. Each town page shows the record for that town.

Interlock Roofing, at its plant in Delta, BC. The panels are aluminum with up to 95% recycled content, interlock on all four edges and carry the Alunar® coating system. The manufacturer publishes its test reports and certifications at interlockroofing.com.

Does an aluminum roof hold up near the ocean?

Yes, and that is the main reason we install aluminum on the coast. Aluminum contains no iron, so salt air on Cape Cod, the Islands, the North Shore, the Rhode Island and Connecticut shoreline or the Maine coast has nothing to rust. The fasteners are concealed, and flashings and trim are checked as part of the roof.

Can you roof a house in a historic district?

Often, but the decision belongs to your local historic district commission, not to us. Check its rules before you sign. We can supply profile samples, colors and product documents for the application.
