Deep Charcoal slate, documented in Plymouth

Plymouth sits in New England’s salt-air belt, which is exactly where aluminum earns its keep: unlike steel, it cannot rust, so coastal exposure is a non-event for the panels, trim, and fasteners alike.

Small roof, full detailing — cottages get the same formed valleys and flashing as a 100-square Victorian. This install is 19 squares of Deep Charcoal Interlock aluminum slate — installed 2018, photographed on completion and pinned on the live project map.

The in-service record

This roof has now been through 8 New England winters — nor’easters, ice-dam seasons, freeze-thaw cycles — under its original finish and warranty. That in-service record, not a brochure claim, is why we publish it.
